TUESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny skies and likely a completely dry day. A rather pleasant feel to the temperatures after all the heat the past week. Drying out by late day with a little partial sunshine in the evening. MONDAY: Cloudy skies with early morning fog and scattered showers on and off through the early afternoon. Cooler, more seasonable temperatures arrive, and turning less humid by Sunday night. SUNDAY: Morning fog and clouds, staying mostly cloudy with more numerous, off and on showers and an isolated thunderstorm. Temperatures continue to drop a little, but still feeling muggy. SATURDAY: Early morning fog and clouds, staying mostly cloudy to partly sunny with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms to the south and of the city of Syracuse. Mostly dry in the morning then a few showers and thunderstorms develop in the early to middle afternoon, and ino evening. Not as hot, but still warm and humid, above normal for this time of year. Low: 69.įRIDAY: Patchy morning fog gives way to a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Risk for damaging winds and heavy rain in some early evening storms. Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and strong thunderstorms in the evening tapering off by midnight with partial clearing overnight. THURSDAY NIGHT: A very warm and humid evening again in store for us. Record high for Syracuse is 95 degrees set in 2007. High: 89, maximum heat index of 93-94 in Syracuse. The main threat being damaging wind gusts, but there is also the risk for isolated flash flooding and small hail in spots. Some storms could be strong to severe after 2 pm to 3 pm. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms arriving in the late morning to around noon, then more scattered activity closer to 3-4 pm moving from SSW to NNE.
